Coachwork by Pininfarina
An evolution of the 1960 bodystyle and mechanical specification, this 1961 Ferrari 250GT SWB berlinetta was built as a road car and ordered with Rosso Corsa paintwork and black leather upholstery by its first owner, a Signor Canavese. As often happened, in the late 1960s it found its way to America where it remained for some two decades, eventually returning to Europe and entering the joint ownership of two well-known Dutch collectors. Sold at auction in 2005, it was acquired by a dynamic British enthusiast as part of his growing collection and has been driven in the Tour de France Automobile and the Le Mans Historique. Still in its original colour scheme and with its matching components, this beautifully turned out SWB berlinetta is Ferrari Classiche certified, British road registered and 'on the button'.
