- One of the most beautiful sports-prototypes of its era
- Rare (circa ten known to exist) and one of even fewer in long tail configuration
- Preserved on museum display for decades
- Eligible for Goodwood, Le Mans Classique, Tour Auto, Modena Cento Ore and much more
Developed and improved after its ’67 launch, the 33 became the 33/2 and started to win races. Rarest and most beautiful was the long tail version, created for high speed circuits like Le Mans, and this is one of them. A double Le Mans entrant (‘68/9) also believed to have raced at the gruelling Targa Florio in ‘69, it later spent many years in the much-missed Rosso Bianco collection which was sold ‘en bloc’ to the current owner. Offered in untouched, largely preserved condition, this is a fascinating example of the beauty of late 1960s sports-prototypes boasting an exotic specification and a legendary badge. A rare survivor.
